4:19-27 v.19, it costs to tell the truth! v.20,21, repetition / emphasis
v.22, valor, a servant before a powerful king! v.23, insanity, for a complete time
v.24,25, God’s work: boanthropy = ox / man v.26, heaven rules, controls!
v.27, national leaders responsible for morality

4:28-33 v. 28, God doesn’t lie
v.29,30, I, my, my!
v.31, one moment / the next
v.32, God’s sentence on impenitent pride v.33, God speaks / instant fulfillment

4:34-37 v.34, Lk. 15:17, came to self. Blesses, praises, honors. A truly converted believer!
v.35, great confession, a new man, pride gone
v.36, additional blessings when God is praised
v.37, indication of genuine conversion. Great-
ness of nation depends on confessing God.

Lesson for exiled Jews: God in control of all! What happened to Nebuchadnezzar is encour-agement for their ultimate release from captivity in a not-distant future!
