4:34-37 v.34, Lk. 15:17, came to self. Blesses,
praises, honors. A truly converted believer!
v.35, great confession, a new man, pride gone
v.36, additional blessings when God is praised
v.37, indication of genuine conversion. Great-
ness of nation depends on confessing God.
Lesson for exiled Jews: God in control of
all! What happened to Nebuchadnezzar is encour-agement for their
ultimate release from captivity in a not-distant future!
